What type of procedures do you
offer?
-
Eyeliner and Eyelash Enhancement
- A fine, soft natural line can be created to add depth and
definition to your eyes. Your lashes will appear to be thicker. Color and
thickness can be individualized and make-up can be applied for a more dramatic
evening look.
-
Eyebrows - Eyebrows are the frame for
your eyes and face and, when designed properly, lift the eyes giving a more
youthful appearance, make cheekbones appear more prominent, and influence how
the nose is perceived. Those women whose eyebrows are sparse from tweezing,
shaving or alopecia, and those whose brows are blonde or light in color, or even
those with non-existent eyebrows, can now enjoy the luxury of permanent
eyebrows.
-
Lip Color -
Lip-liner and full lipstick color is perfect for reshaping uneven lips and for
making lips appear larger and fuller. It has the added benefit of preventing
lipstick from bleeding. It covers scars and can give your lips a natural or more
dramatic blend of color enhancement with color, which lasts all day, every day.
-
Camouflaged Scars and Vitiligo - Color
is matched to your skin tone and is applied to the scar area to match the
surrounding area so that scars seem to disappear.
-
Areola/Nipple Restoration
- The areola can be restored to a more natural looking color and shape after
surgery or mastectomy.
-
Cleft Lip - Full lip color can be
applied to reshape the lip and cover the scars from cleft lip repair.
-
Cancer And Burn Patients
- Eyebrows, eyelash enhancement and lip color can be done due to hair loss and
scarring or disfigurement.

time for applying make-up everyday....Those with allergies to conventional
make-up....Women - ( or men) with hair loss due to alopecia or who just have
very sparse hair growth....Elderly women and those who have difficulty applying

How would I know
which color to choose?
There is a large array of lovely colors from
which to choose and virtually any color can be mixed to compliment your
natural skin tones. We work with you, discussing your preferences and making
suggestions to help perfect your look, custom designing your permanent make-up
with a color that will suit you best.
Back to Questions
What if styles
change?
As permanent make-up professionals, we never
do anything that is too trendy. We use colors that are custom blended to
compliment your skin tone, eye and hair colors to give a soft natural
appearance. More color can be added at a later appointment if a more dramatic
look is desired.
Is it expensive?
Not if you look at the long term cost and
effect. It costs about one year's cosmetics bill, but is little compared to 2-5
years of daily make-up expenses. Also, it doesn't run or wash off, and it's a
great time saver. It's worth every penny to make the most of your natural
beauty. It's what we've all been waiting for!
Does it look natural?
Very natural - your features look more
defined. Your friends would never know what the difference was in you unless you
told them.
Back to Questions
How long will it
last?
This varies with each individual person,
though the usual duration is between two to fifteen years, or more, depending on
how the skin is cared for. Imagine how wonderful it would be to wake up each
morning, with two matching eyebrows, or to go swimming and know that your
eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip liner will still be intact when you emerge from the
water. You can look wonderful 24 hours a day!
Is there a chance of
infection?
Safety is our priority. Everything we use is
sterile. We have been highly trained in this art to exacting standards. Although
there is always a risk of infection, it is relatively low compared to other
procedures.
How long does it
take to heal?
It will take a full two to six weeks to heal
completely before a touchup procedure can be performed. Initial healing, during
which a slight crust will form and then fall off, is between three and seven
days.
Back to Questions
What is the healing
period like?
On the second day after a procedure, a light
crust will form - which is only dry to your touch. This will fall off in a few
days. Some of the color may come off with this layer. Prior to this time the
pigment area may look a little darker than what you decided upon - once the
crust flakes off it is common for the color to lighten 10%-50%.
What will the
procedure feel like?
Some patients say it feels like plucking their
eyebrows. Others say it feels like slight scratching, vibration or deep
pressure. Some clients feel absolutely nothing except a prickly sensation. We
can use anesthetics to greatly reduce discomfort and promote relaxation. A new
two step topical numbing technique is used to assure our clients comfort. The
area may feel chapped or sunburned for a few days afterward.
Back to Questions
How long will the
procedure take?
After your consultation visit a 2 hour
appointment will be scheduled for your first procedure. For areola restoration,
the first procedure will normally be followed by 1 or 2 focus visits to finish
the details. Facial makeup is completed in one visit with a touchup six weeks
later (if needed).
Will there be any
swelling?
There may be a small amount of redness and
swelling around the treated area. This will be gone in 6-12 hours after brow
color, and 24-48 hours after eye liner and lip color. Benadryl, a
non-prescription antihistamine allergy medicine, will help reduce the swelling.
This is recommended, especially for eyeliner and lip applications.
Back to Questions
Will it fade?
The first 2 weeks after a procedure is called
the color stabilization time. The first few hours after a procedure, the color
will darken as the swelling subsides. In 3-7 days, the epidermal (outer) layer
of skin will gradually peel or flake off as the new layer re-grows. Some of the
color will come off with this layer. Allow for a 10%-50% fade during this time.
Over time the color will soften.
Will I need to take
off work?
No, there is minimum swelling and redness. Ice
is used to reduce swelling and an ointment is used for several days.
What about
sterilization?
Only sterile supplies are used. All other
equipment is either discarded after use or sterilized in an autoclave according
to strict Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
